New Medical Technology

We support the purchase, design, and building of all medical technology that may be used to alleviate suffering. We support the increased availability of alternative treatments.

New Focus for Government

We support the restructuring of every government program, from taxation to social services to education, to increase justice, freedom, and contentment.

 Mega Projects, the Past

 We will eliminate the government’s role in status-driven megaprojects, be it Expo or the Olympics. Cost overruns are a constant of such programs and they increase the stratification in society, providing more to those with the greatest funds and less to those who have little.

The Next Mega Project

The core mega-project of the new millennia will be the enhancement of well-being and eventual elimination of the experience of suffering.  Government resources will be redirected to this end.  Health funding towards technologies to enhance mood and well-being will be made more available to all. 

Animal Well-Being

The human animal’s well-being is our first priority. Humans have the greatest capacity to change the world for the better. Our next and pressing priority is to make policy based on minimizing cruelty to animals, both for pets and animals that feed us.

Final Wishes for the Dying

For people who are near death we will institute a ‘no limit’ policy to the amount of pain killers, including so-called illegal drugs, that they wish to use in their final days.

We support the expansion and eased availability of drugs that alleviate suffering.

Income Tax

We need a form of taxation that heals the environment quickly and maximizes the prosperity of citizens. We support in principle the gradual elimination of income tax and the transfer of taxation to consumption.
We will begin by eliminating income tax for citizens earning under $20,000 a year and scale all tax breaks from the bottom up. Initial tax credits will apply to BC businesses first.

 A New Currency

To eliminate the unsustainable effects of usury and the inevitable indebtedness of individuals, nations, and provinces to international banks we will create a provincial currency backed by real gold, silver, and other physical commodities. This provincial currency backed by a real world counterpart will create a hedge against international currency speculator’s attacks on national currencies and improve the stability of personal savings.

Provincial Defense

We strongly support local natural resource and border protection. We support the creation of a provincial militia if necessary.

Expand Choices for Social Programs

 For example, with education and welfare we will introduce education transfer credits and guaranteed annual income. This will give citizens more freedom and choices to improve their well-being.

The Sale of Land and Public Utilities

 We support retaining and protecting public land or public utilities if they benefit citizens or the environment; in cases of sale, land should always be sold first to BC residents, then Canadian citizens.

Entrepreneurship

 We endorse free-markets and wealth creation.  We encourage entrepreneurship and free market systems unless they harm health or the environment.  Significant tax relief will go towards citizen purchases or companies that improve emotional well-being through their products or corporate structure. 

Health Care

 We will reduce suffering, be it psychological or physical, to the greatest degree possible by legalizing anti-depressants and pain-relievers and protecting and enhancing optimal surgical and emergency care.
